Why hold a Japanese wedding?

Original and trendy, the Japanese marriage remains etched in the memories. It is often synonymous with refinement and elegance. Note however much you take in advance and anticipate a substantial budget for this kind of marriage. Do not hesitate to call a wedding planner to help you!

A wedding date was not chosen at random

The date of a Japanese marriage is not chosen lightly. You will first need to use the Chinese horoscope to determine the best date to celebrate your union. In Japan, marriages often take place in autumn or spring. You can also select other times of the year but not the month of October, which is considered "free spirits." The groom drinks the first cut in three sips, and then the bride does the same once the cup refilled. Then the bride drinks the second cut in three sips also then the groom goes for it performs the same action. Finally, the groom drinks the last cut in three sips, then goes to the bride which reiterates the gesture. After this comes the exchange of rings. Following this step, all guests are invited to get up and drink sake with married. The ceremony ends with offerings of sacred twigs and food to gods.

The reception and the evening

The reception is a big meal for family and friends speeches and songs and dances. During the reception, the bride exchange kimono and swapped white against bold colors. The groom may also change. Only members of the immediate family are invited to the reception. The evening is an opportunity to invite friends or people less close to celebrate the happy event in a privatized restaurant. Remember to book a DJ to set the mood!

Gifts

During a Japanese wedding(bridesmaid dresses), the guests must provide the money in cash to married. You can specify a specific amount on the invitation card, or leave them free to choose the amount. The average is 225 € for the wedding of a friend, for example. More guest is close to you, the more it is supposed to give money. Please note that the sum must be an odd number that brings good luck. Guests must place the money in an envelope specifying their names. Married also offer a souvenir gift to each guest, often a subject or treats. A Japanese wedding costs on average € 20,000 to organize, not counting the price of traditional outfits.
